Coming Up....
We are half way through winter as we enter the month of February. God continues to bless the NJBC ministry, which we are forever grateful. There are some exciting activities going on this month. You are welcomed to participate in whatever you feel God’s leading. Fellowship time is so important as a church family and as we grow together in the Lord.
SATURDAY, the 4th COUPLE’S VALENTINES GET-TOGETHER 6:00 p.m.Mitchell
and Judy Denno are planning a great evening for couples. A delicious dinner as well as great
fellowship will be served up at the Community Hall.
SUNDAY, the 5th 9:30 a.m. Morning Worship Service
BOY SCOUT SUNDAY
We welcome members of Troop 91 to our Morning Worship Service. Newton Junction Baptist Church has been the troops sponsor for many years. It is good to have these young men and their leaders with us this Sunday.
12:00 noon SUNDAY SCHOOL SOUPER BOWL OUTREACH PACKER MEADOWS
Our Sunday School children will again bless the residents of Packer Meadows by serving them homemade soups and stews. It is always a great time for the children as well as those living in that community.
THURSDAY, the 9th 9:30 a.m. SEWING CRAFTING GET-TOGETHER
Calling all those who sew, quilt or are crafty to a time of fellowship as we work on various projects. Some will be making Quilted Schlep Bags. If that isn’t your delight, please bring your own craft or sewing project along to work on.

SUNDAY, the 12th SEA MONTHLY HYMN SING FBC Hampton Falls – 7:00 p.m.
Our monthly hymn sing will be held at the First Baptist Church of Hampton Falls. Always a blessing as we join with others from our association. If you need a ride, please let Pastor Jim know. We would love to have you join us for a great night of music.

TUESDAY, the 28th SENIOR’S “NEW ENGLAND WEATHER” LUNCHEON 12:00 noon
After a yummy “Ham & Bean” dinner we are delighted to have Weatherman Josh Judge, WMUR TV, with us to tell us about “New England Weather”. Also, he will have available two of his books: “Extreme New England Weather” ($15.00) and “Weather Facts and Fun” (This book is especially good for young people - $12.00) for purchase. We are planning on having “perfect” weather and a great time of food, weather information and fellowship.
WEDNESDAY, the 29th SCHOOL VACATION PIZZA & CRAFT PARTY
4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Church Vestry
It’s school vacation time and all children are invited to a fun, “cure for the boredom”, party. Crafts and art work are being planned as well as yummy pizza. Be sure to invite a friend or two. Parents….any questions? Please see Robyn.
ROUTE 66
UPDATE
Our Sunday School children have begun traveling along
Route 66. Each week they are
learning about a different book of the Bible and completing some pretty
impressive worksheets. They are
making a scrapbook of their journey and finding out some fascinating facts
about each book. Their goal is to
complete the whole Old Testament this year. Pray for them each day as they hide God’s Word in their
hearts! We are learning about Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs this month.
