Sunday School is the place to be this Fall. Those in the younger generation have an exciting new adventure this year along Route 66. And the adult class too will have much to be looking forward to.
ROUTE 66
For those in grade school – Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Route 66: A Trip through the 66 Books of the Bible is designed to take children on a life-changing journey through each of the 66 books of the Bible, introducing them to more of the wonders of the Word and the adventure that can be found in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Each week, Route 66 will introduce children to a different book or group of books in the Bible. They’ll learn about the author, the time frame, the key people, and the book’s purpose. As they travel along, each one will make their own Souvenir Scrapbook to remember their different stops and to celebrate the journey.
For children 4 – 5 years old, a class will also be available, learning favorite Bible stories.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The adult class will begin their Fall time by viewing two powerful videos by Rev. Buddy Bell.
September 11th – Understanding the Ministry of Helps
September 18th – Finding Your Place in the Local Church
At our September 11th meeting we will decide which one of the following will be our study for the Fall months:
· Sermon on the Mount
· Book of Ecclesiastes
· Growing Older and Wiser
· Spiritual Warfare
So pray and think about which topic you would like to engage this Fall. I am looking forward to our time together again.
God’s
blessings,
Pastor Jim
